He has over 20 years experience in the New Zealand meat export sector and with aviation services. Walter has lectured at Massey University and has worked for the Graduate School of Business MBA programme and Aviation School programme mainly in supervising Logistics and Supply Chain research projects. Walter was also the Course Director for the Diploma in Logistics from 1995 until his company The Logistics Training Company took over the licence from Massey in 2005. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom.
